The Resident Representative, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sri Lanka visited the Yakkala National Youth Corps Training Centre on 19.07.2023. The visit aimed to announce the partnership between the UNDP and the National Youth Corps, under the broader framework of collaboration between the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, its related agencies and UNDP in Sri Lanka, under the Youth Empowerment in the Asia and the Pacific (YEP-AP) 2023-26 programme and facilitate a meeting with the UNDP Resident Representative Ms. Azusa Kubota, Additional Secretary (Ministry of Youth Affairs) Mr. Saman Waduge, NYC Director Brig. Sujeewa Rathnayeke, Youth Corps officials and other key partners.
