Director National Youth Corps Brig. Sujeewa Rathnayake visited the National Youth Corps Hotel Training School at Dambulla on 25 May 2023.
He visited the routing training activities, inspected hotel administration and the infrastructure facilities available at the school.
During the visit Director witnessed the trainees’ practical sessions and had an interaction session with them and the staff members as well. Further he emphasized to achieve the maximum productivity of the institute since it is the only government sponsored Hotel School in the island.
He requested the staff to increase the effectiveness of the institute in view of giving more opportunities to the Sri Lankan youth to get local and foreign jobs in the hotel field.
He pointed out the areas which are to be developed more in the hotel to get the maximum results.
Deputy Director Training, Assistant Director Training and the Provincial Director Eastern participated in the visit.
