Another house under the “Senehe Piyasa” housing project implemented by the National Youth Corps (NYC) was donated to a homeless needy family at Seruwawila on 26 May 2023 under the patronage of Director National Youth Corps Brig. Sujeewa Rathnayake USP psc IG. The newly constructed house was donated to Mr. KWN Weerasinghe. The house was built as a joint project of Youth Cadets of Dehiattakandiya National Youth Corps Training Centre in collaboration with well-wishers of the area and Divisional Secretariat officials.
Deputy Director (Trg and Development), Assistant Director (Trg ) and Provincial Director Eastern were also present on the occasion.
