Training of trainers programme for Life Skill Instructors of the National Youth Corps was conducted under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Colombo and Battaramulla under the patronage of Mr.Fadhil Bakeer and the Director National Youth Corps (NYC) Brig.Sujeewa Rathnayake USP psc IG. The programme was scheduled on the instruction of NYC Director after the NYC syllabus being scrutinized after 21 years and programme was conducted in three phases comprising of all the Life skill instructors of all the centres island wide. The NYC syllabus was reviewed and updated to cope with the today’s youth requirement and impart the subject knowledge to the NYC life skill instructors to apply in due course.
