National Youth Corps commenced hotel training course for the 2022 – Second Batch at the Hotel training school, La-Hotelier on 25 July. 2022.
The second Batch consisting of 194 trainees will follow a 6- Month in house practical and theoretical training at the hotel in 5 phases. National Youth Corps will provide food and accommodation for the trainees free of charge.
The Hotel Course has been designed as follows;
International Cookery – NVQ Level IV
Food & Beverage – NVQ Level IV
Pastry & Bakery – NVQ Level IV
Hotel House Keeping – NVQ Level III
Front Office – NVQ Level III
During the course, trainees will receive Training in personality development, Life skill and Soft skill development.
Besides that, National Youth Corps will provide them basic Chinese and English Language knowledge along with Information Computer Technology.
After 6 months training in hotel field, NYC provides the trainees to get an on job training at different leading hotels.
