Col RMSP Rathnayake USP psc IG assumed duties as the new Director of National Youth Corps (NYC) on 17 April 2023 at the NYC Headquarters amidst religious rites.
National Youth Corps is a leading state organization for the life skills development of the youth which was established in 2002 in view of producing knowledgeable, competent skillful and energetic youth for the nation.
Assuming the duties he stated that he hoped to achieve the vision of the NYC and go forward with the national requirement and requested all to work together.
