First and foremost I wish you all a very prosperous, successful and peaceful 2023. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all who supported me in thick and thin through my years at National Youth Corps (NYC) since being appointed as the Chairman.
The new year 2023, being another step forward in youth development for NYC, I expect all of us to work hand in hand as an organization to train and groom the younger generation of our country to assure them of a bright future. With positive attitudes, commitment to one’s cores and perseverance at all times, we as a team and a Life Skills Development institution should guide the youth to achieve their goals and future dreams while paving the way for Sri Lanka’s sustainability and development in the segments of education and employment.
We embrace 2023 at a time when the country is grappled with untold economic hardships and severe social complexities. Under such circumstances, as Sri Lankans we should think and act in utmost responsibility and sheer devotion to win our battles as citizens by lending a hand to the rising generation of the country to make Sri Lanka great again.
