Appointing the council members for the National Youth Corps took place on 13 September 2022 at the National Youth Corps Headquarters under the patronage of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Roshan Ranasinghe.
Council Members are as follows;
Chairman – Col. Darshana Rathnayake RWP RSP – Chairman/President – National Youth Corps.
Representative of the Treasury – D.A. Niharapola – Director (Acting), Department of National Planning.

Dr. Anusha Edirisinghe – Senior Lecturer – University of Kelaniya
Dr. Chaminda Abesinghe – Senior Lecturer – University of Kelaniya
Dr. D.M. Surathissa – Chairman/President – Sri Lanka Institute of Local Governance.
