National Youth Corps (NYC) Dehiowita Training Center donated a house to needy family , Mrs.Lalitha Hettiarachchi of Kanangama, Kurunduwatta under the “Senehe Piyasa” housing project on 30 December 2022.
The new house was built by the youth cadets of the NYC Training Centre, Dehiowita with the sponsership of well wishers, doners of the area along with the administrative support of the government agencies.
NYC commenced the ” Senehe Piyasa” project for the selected homeless families island wide by its 58 Training Centres and the houses are built by youth trainees by their own dedication, leadership and coordination with the sponsors other stakeholders of the area.
