“Y ” Green Agricultural project which was started by the National Youth Corps in line with the national cultivation drive to make Sri Lanka self- sufficient. The project was implemented by the National Youth Corps Island wide in its Training Centres and has become successful.
The practical and the theoretical knowledge on producing organic fertilizer was given at the beginning.
The gesture that coincided on the instructions of Provincial Director North Central and the guidance of the Officer-in-Charge of the Medirigiriya NYC Centre, a selected block of land brought under cultivation successfully and harvesting of the crops is presently being done.
