The “Youth Clean” program was successfully held at the Yakkala Training Center on February 14th, with the participation of youth cadets from national youth centers in Yakkala, Katunayake, Divulapitiya, and Attanagalla, which belong to the Western Province. The event was conducted under the leadership of the Director of the National Youth Corps, Gamini Wickramapala.
During the event, a musical entertainment program was conducted with the contribution of veteran Sinhala speaker Sujeewa Sirimewan. Fun games and various other activities, including dance performances at the Yakkala Aesthetic Centre, were organized. The event was attended by several prominent individuals, including the Member of Parliament for the Gampaha District, Lasith Bashana, Additional Director (Administration and Finance) Nishantha Pushpakumara, Western Province Director Lt. Colonel Jagath Kumara,Officers’ In charge , advisory boards, and many young participants.
