Memorandom of understanding was signed on 7th October between the Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy and the National Youth Corps regarding a Diploma (Level III) course in Information Technology and English language to be conducted by the two parties.
Representing the National Youth Corps were Director Brigadier Sujeewa Rathnayake USP psc IG Additional Director (Training and Development) Saman Kulasuriya, Assistant Director (Operation) D.M.T.M. Ranasinghe, along with a team of officials. From the Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy, Chairman Dr. Upali M. Sedara, Associate Professor Hasanti Yapadahanayake (Head of Division), and Division Head (Administration and Finance) Mirani Verellage participated as well.
This agreement will provide an opportunity for youth cadets who successfully complete the advanced certification course in Information Technology and English language to enroll in the Diploma course, thereby opening pathways to higher education.
