The certificate distribution ceremony for the first group of 2024 at the National Youth Corps Hotel Training School was held on July 17 in Dambulla, under the esteemed leadership of Minister of State for Finance, Shehan Semasinghe.
During the event, 220 trainees who successfully completed courses in Professional Cookery, Pastry and Bakery, Food and Beverage Service, Reception, Housekeeping, and Assistant Stewarding received their certificates.
The occasion was attended by officials from the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, including the Chairman of the National Youth Corps, Chathuranga Udawatta, as well as board members, Director Brigadier Sujeewa Rathnayake USP PSC IG, provincial directors, officials from the hotel owners’ association, center heads, distinguished guests, trainees, and parents.
