Hotel House Keeping – NVQ level III
Occupation: Hotel House Keeping
Scope
- Check in/out of rooms
- Service of vacant rooms / accommodation units

- Providing service of floors, guest corridors, service areas, stairwells and pantry
- Handling Mini bars
- Communication of Workplace
- Training on Literacy and Numerical Uses in the Workplace

Front Office – NVQ level III
Occupation: Receptionist
Scope
- Training on Work place communication
- Training on literacy and numerical practices in the skills area
- Team Work
- Following occupational health care and adoption of environmental measures.
- Attend to customer’s/ Visitor’s requirement
- Handling communication systems
- Providing information and services
- Keeping records
- Handling customer /visitor complaints
All courses will be provided free of charge. National Youth Corps will provide basic personality development training, leadership, soft skills development training, basic knowledge of Chinese language and information technology to trainees during the hotel training course. All trainees who have completed this training course from its inception to date have now been able to pursue their careers by engaging advanced employment in the relevant field.
